Silicon (IV) Nitride 85% min. α phase

Silicon Nitride Powder is gray to white in color. It has high temperature strength, superior toughness, strong hardness, excellent abrasion resistance, good thermal shock resistance, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, good corrosion resistance, smaller shrinkage by reheating, good chemical resistance, and good high-temperature insulation properties.

Typical Applications:     Heat engine parts, nozzles, bearings, valves, armor, power generating turbines, machine bearings, heat and corrosion resistant  jigs, plastics filler, high temperature insulation materials, special refractories, surface reforming, and electronic materials
