Silicon Carbide-Green is typically used for grinding, polishing, lapping, ceramics, refractory, heating elements and for electrical uses.
Bayville’s Silicon Carbide-Green powder is produced in an electrical resistance furnace from quartz sand, petroleum coke and salt at extremely high temperature. Silicon Carbide-Green is semi-transparent in green color with high purity and super hardness. It is suitable for grinding of hard, brittle and non-metallic substances such as cemented carbides, optical glasses and ceramics.
